Job summary

Ford Mexico is seeking a Dimensional Control Engineer to join the Manufacturing team. You will apply GD&T, interpret inspection data, and ensure gauge calibration and repeatability across stamping and machining processes.

You will lead the dimensional control group, develop process capability plans, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvements using SPC and MSA methods. Collaboration with production and quality teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering; Automotive/manufacturing exp preferred.
• 2+ years in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Apply GD&T principles to parts and assemblies.
• Interpret data from inspection equipment and recommend actions.
• Ensure gauge calibrations, certification, repeatability, and reproducibility.
• Lead the dimensional control group and drive data integrity across manufacturing lines.
• Develop process capability analyses and lead corrective-action validation.
