We are looking for a full time Sales Planner to join our Client Services team. This individual will partner with the Sales and Account Management team to ensure seamless and strategic media planning while providing a high level of client service for advertisers, agencies and internal clients.

The digital Sales Planner will serve as the primary “pre-sale” point of contact for client inquiries and requests pertaining to their advertising programs. This includes but is not limited to: preparing sales proposals and client presentations, collecting and presenting research information, providing clients with accurate information concerning rates, deadlines, technical specifications, and inventory availability.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support and assistance in the development of winning media plans using strategic thinking while adhering to client RFP details, requests, requirements and KPI’s
  • Verify inventory availability through our internal sales process
  • Respond to questions from sellers regarding proposals, specs, collateral (marketing assets), customer service, research and billing
  • Communicate ad specs and creative lead times while managing client expectations
  • Bridge communication from the Sales team to all pre-sales related departments including sales planning, research, AdOps, etc.
  • Maintain and upload the media plans and keep proper organization within Salesforce for accurate revenue forecasting
  • Create internal insertion orders to adhere to sales operations processes
  • Attend and participate in planning kick-off calls
  • Work across functional teams such as Account Management, Sales, Ad Operations, Marketing and Content Studio in the creation of client proposals, presentations and media plans
  • Revise media plans based on client feedback
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in media planning or client service role at an ad network, advertising agency or large publisher
  • Demonstrated proficiency in English, both written and verbal
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a broad range of internal and external clients
  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to meet deadlines
  • Understanding of cross-channel media and rich media formats and video including VAST, VPAID
  • Digital media industry experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Remote position; self-starter with detailed daily activity and performance reporting
  • Proactive, energetic and excellent follow-through skills
  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience targeting multicultural audiences a plus
