Would you like to help bring vision systems and digital technologies into Corning’s manufacturing plants?

What is your role?

As a Digital Engineer, you will support the implementation and adoption of digital manufacturing solutions, initially focusing on vision systems across Reynosa plants. You will collaborate with plant teams and technical stakeholders to coordinate projects, support implementation and turn operational needs into practical improvements.

Major responsibilities and tasks of the position

Support the rollout of vision systems and digital manufacturing solutions, serving as a local contact for implementation, technical support and adoption.

Coordinate project activities, track actions and communicate progress, issues and next steps with stakeholders.Use digital platforms and AI tools to support analysis, documentation and improvement opportunities.Support testing, user training and process documentation to help operations adopt and sustain digital solutions.

An early-career profile with relevant internship, technical or project experience. Recent graduates and candidates from any academic discipline will be considered.Basic knowledge of Databricks and some exposure to using the platform.Project coordination or project management experience; internship projects may be considered.Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.Intermediate-advanced English, with the ability to communicate effectively in meetings and project discussions.Proactivity, curiosity about emerging technologies and clear communication with different stakeholders.Availability to work in Reynosa and visit manufacturing plants as required.

Work location and schedule

Based in Reynosa, with approximately 60% office work and 40% shop-floor activities. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional earlier starts or extended weekday hours.The role includes regular plant visits, mainly in Reynosa and Monterrey, with potential future international travel. A valid visa is a plus.
