A leading construction company in Nuevo León is seeking a Painter. The role involves mixing paints, applying finishes, and maintaining surfaces. You'll load and transport materials, ensure compliance with safety guidelines, and be responsible for various maintenance tasks. Candidates must have a high school diploma, at least three years of experience in painting trades, and a valid professional driver's license. A painting certification is preferred. Formación

  • Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.
  • Valid Professional Driver’s License with at least Restriction Code 2.
  • At least three years' experience in painting trades.

Responsabilidades

  • Load, transport, unload materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Mix paints, match colors, prepare surfaces, and apply paint.
  • Install, repair, and maintain drywall and ceilings.

Conocimientos

Knowledge in hazardous materials handling
English language proficiency
Basic knowledge of Maximo
Basic knowledge of Tablet

Descripción del empleo

**Title:**DG BOSS: Painter (FN)* As directed by the Superintendent, may load, transport, unload, materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.* Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary.* May assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials during installation.* Responsible for mixing paints, matching colors, preparing surfaces, and applying paint to these surfaces.* May perform touch-ups or coordinate large painting projects related to the construction industry.* Installs, repairs, and maintains drywall, wall texturing, and ceiling acoustic texturing.* Applies paints, stains, surface preparatory materials, and undercoating materials to a variety of surfaces, as appropriate, and according to Materials Safety Data Sheets ensuring compliance with hazardous materials guidelines.* Maintains existing paint surfaces through matching and tinting of appropriate paint products.* Identification, safe handling, and appropriate disposal of paints, stains, preparatory and undercoating materials, and other hazardous materials.* Helps coordinate movement of materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site.* Completes and reviews records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up activities.* Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.* Performs other duties and activities as directed.**Basic Qualifications*** Must have knowledge and skill in hazardous materials handling, application, and disposal.* Must speak, read, and understand the English Language.* Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.* Must have a valid Professional Driver’s License with at least Restriction Code 2.* Must have basic knowledge of Maximo and Tablet**Preferred Qualifications****JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING:*** Painting certification/s is required.**EDUCATION:*** Must have at least High School diploma, Vocational or Technical course Graduate is required.**EXPERIENCE:*** Must have at least three (3) years’ experience in painting trades.* **We Value Our People –** We create diverse, inclusive environments in which each person can feel safe, respected and valued, and where everyone has opportunities to grow and reach their full potential.* **We Deliver –** We are uncompromising in our commitment to deliver innovative, high-quality, technology-led solutions for our customers and exceptional, sustainable value for all our stakeholders.* **We Are People of Integrity –** We value honesty, trust, courage, fairness, prudence and tenacity.
