A global insurance provider is seeking a DevSecOps & Cloud Datawarehousing platform manager in Mexico. This role requires extensive experience in DBA and cloud datawarehousing, specifically with AWS and Azure. Responsibilities include deploying solutions, managing clusters, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates will have strong technical skills and a customer-focused approach, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Formación

• At least 10 years' experience as DBA.
• 3+ years of experience on cloud datawarehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Amazon RedShift, Azure Synapse).
• 3+ years of experience on AWS and/or Azure.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure architecture design best practices.
• Experience working with DevOps tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines.

Overview

DevSecOps & Cloud Datawarehousing platform manager

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable and scalable end-to-end solutions to customers
• Deploying DevSecOps Artifacts
• Designing and implementing secure cloud architectures on AWS and Azure
• L2 and L3 platform supports in the area of Cloud Datawarehousing
• Troubleshooting issues related to application performance, networking or security
• Managing the deployment of applications on Kubernetes clusters
• Maintaining network security across multiple environments
• Implementing automated monitoring solutions for cloud resources
• Ensuring compliance with industry and Zurich regulations
• Execution of data strategy, help in the design and architecture of solutions on the platform
• Document and publish best practices, guidelines, and training information
• Participate in the research, design and development of scaling strategies for our very large and growing data assets
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of the support & delivery functions by maintaining awareness of technology developments and making appropriate recommendations to enhance application services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science), master’s degree or Technical Diploma or equivalent
• At least 10 years' experience as DBA
• +3 years of experience on cloud datawarehouses (eg: Snowflake, Amazon RedShift, Azure Synapse or similar)
• +3 years of experience on AWS and/or Azure
• Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure architecture design best practices
• Experience working with DevOps tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of Airflow, Databricks, Kubernetes is an added advantage
• Solid understanding of Networking/Security and Linux
• English language on the Business Fluent level is required
• Curious to continuously learn and explore new approaches/technologies
