Overview

We\'re looking for a DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to join our international team. We\'re seeking someone with strong experience in Kubernetes, GitLab, and Linux automation, who enjoys working on challenging projects with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Kubernetes: Working knowledge of pods, jobs, deployments and other Kubernetes concepts in order to work within our ecosystem.
• They must also understand how Kubernetes resources are defined as YAML files as the project involves writing a validator for these definitions.
• Gitlab: The project involves creating presubmit tests to be run within a GitLab deployment. Git is the underlying source control mechanism,
• Hands-on with common Git operations such as cloning repos, creating commits, pushing commits, etc.
• Must be familiar with Gitlab so that candidate can create GitLab merge requests for developing and testing the Deliverables.
• Ability to use common linux tools such as grep, sed, awk, and bash scripts. Candidate will write scripts that invoke linux commands to validate the content of YAML files inside of the git repo.
• Write scripts for tools using bash or python scripts.
• Must know how to use linux text parsing tools including yq to parse YAML.
• Experience using the GitLab UI. Experience with GitLab that extends beyond general git knowledge would be essential
• Must be familiar with using GitLab to manage a git repo and with changing GitLab configurations.
• Good to have: Knowledge of Go and Bazel.
• Advanced English level.
• Only Mexico residents.
