McDonald’s Global Technology in Mexico City is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer Specialist to build and mature a Cloud DevOps pipeline. You will partner with Digital, Data, Engineering, and Restaurant teams to deliver scalable, secure automation that supports the enterprise Cloud platform.

Responsibilities include designing CI/CD pipelines, deploying cloud resources, integrating security checks, and mentoring junior engineers in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer with emphasis on automation and security.
• 3+ years hands-on with Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• 3+ years supporting cloud-native apps using AKS, Docker, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, and Service Bus.
• Experience implementing Git flow, branching strategies, repository configurations and automation.
• IaC experience with Terraform and ARM templates.
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Strong CS fundamentals with focus on C# and .NET.
• Test automation within CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated leadership in engineering teams and driving operational excellence.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across remote/global teams.

DevOps Engineer Specialist role is part of the Cloud Ecosystem team in Global Technology Infrastructure & Operations. The role reports to the DevOps Senior Engineer and is responsible for supporting and maturingaEnterprise DevOps pipeline in Cloud. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting the definition, vision, design, road map and development of product features from beginning to end. You will support the Digital, Data, Engineering, and Restaurant development teams by delivering a scalable, resilient, and secure Cloud DevOps Pipeline and supporting tooling.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technology leader to help shape the transformation of infrastructure and operations products and services to the entire McDonalds environment.

Duties

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
• Build automation to create and manage AWS Account/Azure Subscription Deploy and manage cloud resource management platform for AWS & Azure
• Integrate security tools and practices into the CI/CD lifecycle, including SAST, DAST, and SCA (e.g., Snyk).
• Manage secrets securely using Azure Key Vault and enforce secure coding practices across development teams.
• Support containerization strategies using Docker and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes.
• Contribute to all aspects of the agile development life cycle including design, development, documentation, testing and operations.
• Participate in efforts to drive elimination of technical debt and continuous improvement in delivery speed, quality, value, and applied innovation.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps or DevSecOps Engineer, with a strong focus on automation and security.
• 3+ Years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• 3+ Years supporting cloud native applications using Azure Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, and Service Bus.
• Experience implementing Git flow, branching strategies, repository configurations (policies, security) and automation.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and ARM templates.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Proven knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures and algorithm) with specific focus on C# and .NET.
• Test automation with Unit Tests for including in pipeline.
• Proven leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational precision and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across remote teams and a global organization.
