Job Description

Activities:

  • Previous: Perform activities related to the pre-clearance of import and export goods within customs facilities (fiscalized premises) and/or warehouses.
  • Preparation of pre-clearance: Physical review of the merchandise.
  • Take serial numbers (if applicable).
  • Take model (if applicable).
  • Verify compliance with labeling standards: NOM 144 (if applicable), NOM 004 (if applicable), NOM 020 (if applicable), NOM 024 (if applicable), or NOM 050 (if applicable).
  • Fill out the pre-clearance form during physical review, including:
  • Photographic record of the product.
  • Upload photos and voice message to the assigned route.
  • Fill out seal control.
  • Customs Clearance: Perform activities related to the clearance of import and export goods within customs facilities.
  • Prepare customs clearance: Process import, export, and withdrawal operations related to customs clearance.
  • Compare the customs declaration with documents and physical load.
  • Barcode/QR code scanning (DODA).
  • Request release for maneuvers at the assigned terminal.
  • Follow up on units with the transport line assigned by the CSR team for pass delivery and exit documents.
  • The dispatcher must monitor the status with the transporter or using SOIA to validate status, and in case of customs recognition, must present with the authority, accompanying the merchandise until release.
  • Report the date/time of shipment release.
  • Follow-up of operation through reports.
  • Keep the workspace (office, vehicles, etc.) clean and organized.
  • Ensure no files are left in the workspace or vehicles at the end of the day.
  • Support all company initiatives to improve process and service quality.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings, be punctual, and attentive.
Qualifications
  • Minimum academic level required: High school diploma or incomplete college.
  • Experience: At least 1 year in a similar position.
