Designer to draft wellheads and christmas tree equipment for the Oil & Gas industry

You will be working with a group of mechanical engineers to produce new models and drawings for new designs or modify existing models using industry and business specific standards.

As a designer to design wellheads and christmas tree equipment for the Oil & Gas industry, you will:

• Create drawings and layouts using Creo for API6A Products – Surface Wellheads and Trees
• Pull drawing numbers and review drawings from PLM system
• Help guide engineers on CREO when needed to facilitate engineers modifying their own less complex models and drawings as needed.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering (industrial, design, or mechanical) from an accredited university.
• Advanced proficiency and certification in CAD software (NX/Unigraphics, Pro-E/CREO, AutoCAD).
• Have a strong understanding of GD&T principles, ASME Y14.5-1994/2009, and tolerance stack up analysis.
• Demonstrate basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including statics, strength of materials, and materials science.
• Be familiar with the use of PLM software, preferably Teamcenter, for managing design data and workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
• Understanding of ASME standards.
• Previous experience in Oil & Gas industry and API 6A standard is a plus.
