Daikin Manufacturing Mexico is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and maintain complete mechanical systems, subassemblies, and BOMs. You will create 3D models and drawings using CAD/PLM, ensuring compliance with standards and collaborating with cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and quality.

The role requires strong technical judgment, problem-solving skills, and experience with product development and change management in a manufacturing environment.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain complete mechanical units, subassemblies, and complex systems.
• Create and review 3D models, drawings, technical specs, and BOMs using CAD/PLM.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, manufacturing requirements, and regulations.
• Support engineering changes, CIP projects, and sustaining engineering activities.
• Provide accurate technical documentation across the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and suppliers for manufacturability and cost targets.
• Contribute to complex projects under general guidance.
• Participate in engineering process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain complete units, subassemblies, and complex mechanical systems.
• Create and review 3D models, engineering drawings, technical specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using CAD and PLM systems.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, manufacturing requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Support VAVE, CIP projects, engineering change implementation, order processing, and sustaining engineering activities.
• Provide accurate and timely technical documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and suppliers to ensure product functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effective solutions.
• Contribute to complex projects under general guidance.
• Collaborate on engineering process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, engineering standards, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with CAD software and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
• Ability to create and interpret 3D models, engineering drawings, technical specifications, and BOMs.
• Strong technical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Effective cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience supporting product development, engineering changes, prototype manufacturing, and production environments.
