Johnson Controls seeks a seasoned design architect to build a repeatable engineering foundation for EOM structures, 3D/2D models, and BOM standardization within PDP/D3 processes. You will standardize rules, templates, and data structures while collaborating with design centers and manufacturing.

The role emphasizes cross-functional workshops, governance for scalable design, and supporting training and adoption of new methods globally.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 5–10 years of experience with product businesses, equipment design, documentation, and configurable product manufacturing.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a designer.
• Willingness to travel up to 10–20% domestically and internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Establish, document, and maintain Data Center Products design processes across functions.
• Standardize design rules, templates, and data structures; act as product line architect for EOM structure.
• Develop cross-product-line templates and data structures to support design automation.
• Support deployment, testing, and training of standardized design methodology.
