Hybrid role: This position requires working 3 days on site and 2 days remote on a full-time basis.

What you will do:

The candidate will create engineering solutions for wiring systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams including suppliers, manufacturing, and design. The Release Engineer will lead PDT meetings to deliver engineering solutions with quality and timeliness, applying best practices, conducting risk analysis using DFMEA, and supporting PFMEA with suppliers and assembly plants.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop engineering solutions for automotive wiring systems.
  • Lead technical reviews with stakeholders: design, supplier, and manufacturing engineering.
  • Ensure engineering solutions adhere to latest guidelines and are robust for assembly processes.
  • Create solid execution plans considering program milestones and build events.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical engineering, or similar.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, with knowledge of failure modes for electrical wiring harnesses, connectors, wiring protection, and manufacturing processes.
