Capgemini Engineering CDMX is seeking an automotive electrical design engineer to interface with cross-functional teams and translate objectives into technical requirements. You will design and develop solutions meeting design requirements, and ensure proper interfaces across components.

The role emphasizes system integration, innovation roadmaps, and a strong adherence to core engineering practices. A related degree and knowledge of lighting, CAN/LIN, and NX/Teamcenter are required.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Mechanical/Computer Engineering or MBA (ABET accredited).
• Knowledge Lighting Development, Lighting Measurement and Lighting Simulation using SPEOS or equivalent tools.
• Experience with CAN/LIN bus and circuit analysis; DFSS knowledge is a plus.
• NX and Teamcenter familiarity; automotive interior design experience.

Responsabilidades

• Create and analyze alternative design concepts and integrate system components.
• Support benchmarking of competitive vehicles and maintain engineering design practices.

YOUR ROLE

Interface with cross functional team to design and develop functional solutions that achieve design requirements & to ensure proper design interfaces with other components, and all requirements are met.

• Work with other functions Design / Releasing teams to ensure consistency in requirements, standards, and practices across programs.
• Translate Functional Objectives into technical requirements and solutions
• Create and analyze alternative design concepts
• Integrating system components
• Support Benchmarking of competitive vehicles.
• Maintain core Engineering Design Practices (EDP’s)
• Implement innovation roadmaps as well as coordinate the advancement of new technologies and procedures to improve program timing.

YOUR PROFILE

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and or MBA from an ABET accredited university (or equivalent)

• Knowledge Lighting Development, Lighting Measurement, Lighting Simulation using SPEOS or any other simulation tools
• Experience developing Performance Standards, Creating master sections and Surface feasibility proposal for PDO
• Knowledge of CAN/LIN bus and experience with circuit analysis
• Design for Six Sigma DFSS experienced (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), Shainin Green Belt
• NX and Teamcenter knowledge
• Automotive Interior Product Design components/systems design/development/releasing experience
