Capgemini Engineering Mexico is seeking an early-career automotive engineer to join our global engineering team. You will lead design, development, validation and release of automotive systems, working with cross-functional partners to meet performance and quality goals.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering and has 1–2 years of experience with CAD tools, DFMEA, DVP&R, and GD&T. Strong English and collaboration skills are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of automotive product design, development, validation, and release experience.
• Knowledge of CAD tools (NX, CATIA), Teamcenter, DFMEA, DVP&R, GD&T, FEA, Six Sigma.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design, development, integration, validation and release of automotive systems and components.
• Define technical requirements and develop solutions that meet performance, quality, cost and timing objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers and stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Manage engineering documentation, risk assessments, validation activities and design changes.
• Drive innovation, problem-solving, continuous improvement and product launch support.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, manufacturing requirements and customer expectations.

Your role

• Lead the design, development, integration, validation, and release of automotive systems and components.

Your profile

• Knowledge of CAD tools (NX, CATIA), Teamcenter, DFMEA, DVP&R, GD&T, FEA, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Understanding of automotive electrical/electronic systems, vehicle architectures, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong leadership, project management, problem-solving, and supplier management skills.
• Excellent communication abilities and advanced English proficiency.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments and manage multiple priorities.
