SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level Design Release Engineer to own end-to-end integration, release, and validation of wheel assemblies, tires, and mounting hardware. Travel to Saltillo, Toluca, or Santa Fe will support vehicle line builds and supplier alignment.

You will work with 3D CAD tools, PLM systems, and work across NVH, braking, and regulatory teams to ensure performance and compliance. Fluency in Spanish and strong English are required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Materials Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of automotive engineering experience focused on wheel/tire design or OE tire development.
• Proficiency in CATIA/V5/V6 and Siemens NX; experience with PLM/BOM systems.
• Knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA and manufacturing quality standards (SAE J2530, ISO).
• Spanish business fluency and strong English written/spoken skills.
• Willingness to travel 25–30% to Saltillo, Toluca or Santa Fe (CDMX).

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end integration, release, and validation of wheel assemblies, tires, and related hardware.
• Lead packaging studies, clearance verifications, and integration with vehicle systems.
• Direct Tier-1 suppliers through tooling, styling feasibility, and PPAP approvals.
• Collaborate with NVH, braking and performance teams for homologation and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and execute DVP&R plans for wheel durability and tire performance testing.
• Provide on-site engineering support at plants during pre-production builds.
