Groupe SEGULA Technologies SA is seeking a Junior Design Release Engineer (DRE) for Chassis Tires & Wheels. This remote role in Mexico requires occasional travel to Saltillo, Toluca, or Santa Fe to support pre-production builds and line trials.

You will assist with engineering release, integration, and validation of wheels, tires, TPMS, valves, and mounting hardware, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure design integrity and timely launches.

Formación

• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools for automotive components.
• Experience using PLM systems to manage BOMs and ECOs.
• Ability to perform root cause analyses (8D, DFMEA) in manufacturing contexts.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with Engineering Release & BOM management for wheels, tires, TPMS, valves and mounting hardware.
• Perform basic packaging and clearance checks for wheel/tire assemblies.
• Coordinate with Tier-1 wheel and tire suppliers for prototype delivery and dimensional reports.
• Support Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) activities and tire/wheel testing coordination.
• Provide on-site support at Saltillo, Toluca, or Santa Fe during build events to troubleshoot mounting and balancing issues.
• Assist senior engineers in addressing minor build defects and line-fitment problems.
