Inteva Products is seeking a design engineer to contribute to door systems development in Querétaro. The role emphasizes CAD in NX and Catia V5, collaboration with North America teams, and positive representation of Inteva to customers.

You'll support engineering with new projects, apply GD&T, and help implement product changes across molding, stamping, and forming processes.

Formación

• Experience in Door System product design including door hardware modules, window regulators and handles.
• Expertise in UG/NX or Catia V5 (minimum 1 year in one).
• Familiarity with Teamcenter Engineering PDM.
• Self-starting attitude and willingness to take stretch assignments.
• Knowledge of GD&T and its application to components.
• Experience assisting engineers in problem solving, testing and validation.
• Knowledge of injection molding, stamping and roll forming.
• Ability to manage multiple complex tasks and communicate clearly.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain open communication with North America Door Systems Eng teams and leadership.
• Represent Inteva positively in communications with customer engineering.

• Create new product ideas and contribute to development projects.

Description

• Application of strong ability in CAD applications – NX and/or CATIA V5
• Open and regular communication with North America Door Systems Engineering teams, including Troy MI leadership and team and ITC based team members, Bengaluru, India
• Engage in communication with customer Engineering representing Inteva positively
• Ensure consistent application of bookshelf solutions aligned with Centers of Expertise product strategies.
• Proactively support Design and Engineering teams with execution of new projects and implementing product design changes.
• Consider and incorporate Engineering and Manufacturing criteria in new concepts and product changes.
• Create new product ideas and concepts and contribute extensively to advance development projects.

Position Requirements

• Experience in Door System product design: Door Hardware Modules, Window Regulators, Handles
• Experience in both UG/NX and Catia V5 preferred (minimum 1 year experience in at least one).
• Experience in use of Team center Engineering PDM Application.
• Demonstrated self-starting/motivated attitude to responsibilities, willingness to take stretch assignments
• Knowledge of GD&T with the ability to apply to components and assemblies.
• Experience in assisting Product Engineers in problem solving, test and validation
• Knowledge of Injection Molding, Stamping and Roll Forming principles.
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple complex tasks.
• Excellent oral & written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Creative Problem Solving Skills & Self Starting.
