Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design or a related engineering role.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in CATIA V5, preferably with exposure to GSD and Part Design.
• Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T principles.
• Understanding of fundamental mechanical design concepts and manufacturing processes.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Willingness to learn, receive technical guidance, and develop engineering skills.
• Internship or professional experience in the automotive industry.
• Exposure to plastic component design or injection molding.
• Familiarity with ASME Y14.5 and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Basic knowledge of assembly constraints and manufacturing feasibility.
• Exposure to automotive lighting components or other automotive assemblies.

Responsabilités

• Review customer requirements and engineering specifications with guidance from senior engineers.
• Create and modify 3D components and assemblies using CATIA V5.
• Support design activities using Part Design and Generative Shape Design (GSD).
• Prepare and update 2D engineering drawings according to established standards.
• Apply basic GD&T principles and support tolerance stack-up activities.
• Implement design changes based on engineering feedback and customer requirements.
• Learn and apply design guidelines for plastic components and injection molding.
• Support design reviews and document engineering decisions.
• Assist with technical documentation and preparation of design justifications.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to resolve design issues.
• Support product validation activities and implement changes identified during testing.
• Complete assigned tasks according to project procedures, quality expectations, and timelines.
