Nutanix in Ciudad Juárez is seeking an applications engineer for product line support, translating orders into BOMs and CAD drawings, and collaborating with design, manufacturing and supply chain.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 2–5 years of hands-on design experience, and strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD). Second shift availability may be required.

Formación

• 2-5 years of progressive, hands-on design engineering experience in a relevant industry.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software: SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD.

Responsabilidades

• Translate incoming order information into bills-of-materials and CAD drawings.
• Collaborate with manufacturing during new product introduction and assist testers on technical issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement to increase productivity and quality.
• Analyze field problems that may require research into product history.
• Maintain effective communication with engineering personnel and coach Juarez engineering when applicable.
