Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Project Superintendent to oversee field operations and onsite construction management for design-build projects nationwide. You will focus on quality control for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems, along with start-up and testing.

The role requires supervising teams, ensuring safety and quality, and willingness to travel/relocate to job sites. A strong background in construction management or engineering is essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent trade experience with progression to management levels.
• 3-15 years of experience in highly technical commercial/industrial construction management.
• Experience on projects of 50+ million, ideally with design-build experience.
• Ability to supervise construction employees and subcontractors to meet budget and schedule.
• Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to jobsite.
• Creative and results-oriented with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with preconstruction, design, engineering, procurement, operations, safety, quality and site management to ensure resources are available.
• Supervise construction employees and subcontractors to achieve work within budget and schedule constraints.
• Maintain strong safety and quality standards on projects.
• Travel or relocate to jobsite as needed.
• Demonstrate creativity and urgency in project execution.
