Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The Dental Assistant will assist dentists with patient care and perform various office tasks to help ensure efficient operation.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments.
  • Hand instruments to dentists during procedures.
  • Take and develop dental x-rays.
  • Assist with patient comfort and oral care.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Schedule patient appointments.
  • Manage inventory and order dental supplies.
  • Follow proper infection control protocols.
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a Dental Assistant program or relevant work experience.
  • X-ray certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
  • CPR certification preferred.
