Position: Systems Implementation and Support Engineer for Retail Sector

Responsibilities:

• Execute technical implementation according to scope and deadlines, ensuring prompt responses and well-implemented solutions.
• Review and validate delivered solutions, troubleshoot issues during implementation, validation, or go-live.
• Configure systems physically or remotely based on client installations.
• Conduct technical visits for installations, diagnostics, software/hardware support, incident management, and resolution.
• Provide Level 2 support for incident diagnosis and resolution.
• Participate in meetings to validate or justify technical solutions.

Candidate Profile:

• Education: Bachelor's or Technical degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, or related fields.
• Experience: 4-5 years in similar roles.
• Skills:
  • Java, JavaScript, Linux environments, JSON, XML.
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL.
  • Troubleshooting (log analysis, error replication, root cause analysis).
• Abilities:
  • Explain technical findings and analyses clearly to clients.
  • Support solutions based on diagnosis.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of git, svn.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, or other deployment/system programming tools.
• JavaScript programming.
• Managing VMWare or VirtualBox virtual machines.

Core Competencies:

• Self-taught learner.
• Result-oriented.
• Responsibility from start to finish.
• Good interpersonal skills across levels.
