Job summary

Movantis in Monterrey is seeking an experienced DBA Manager to lead our database administration team. You will oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of robust SQL Server and PostgreSQL systems, with HA on premises and in the cloud on AWS RDS.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a track record of optimizing performance, reliability, and scalability. You will collaborate with security, application, and infra teams to ensure security, backups, and compliant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years hands-on experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• 3+ years of experience leading DBA teams.
• Proven experience with High Availability configurations (Always On, clustering, replication).
• Strong knowledge of AWS RDS, including provisioning, scaling, security, and monitoring.
• Experience in performance optimization, query tuning, and capacity planning.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities
