TRANSNETWORK MEXICANA S DE RL DE CV is seeking an experienced DBA Manager in Monterrey to lead the database administration team. You will oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of robust systems using SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL, with HA configurations both on prem and in cloud.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, optimization of performance and reliability, and collaboration with application, infrastructure, and security teams.

Formación

• Strong leadership with DBA team experience.
• Extensive experience with SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Experience with on-premises and AWS RDS deployments.
• Familiarity with HA architectures, backups, and security.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and guide the DBA team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Design, implement, and maintain highly available databases for SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Manage on-premises and cloud deployments, especially AWS RDS and NoSQL storages.
• Ensure security, integrity, and compliance of databases with standards.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, storage, and backups.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to support initiatives.
• Drive IaC-based automation for provisioning, scaling, and maintenance.
• Develop and enforce database standards, policies, and procedures.
• Plan upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery strategies.
