Job summary

Trektel is seeking a Mid-Level Database Administrator to keep production databases available, fast, and secure. You will collaborate with development, infrastructure, and support teams, locally and internationally, in a high-impact operational environment.

In this role you will administer and monitor relational databases across development, QA, and production, optimize queries, implement backup and HA, manage access, and diagnose incidents.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a DBA or in a similar role.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, performance tuning, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, firewalls, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Advanced English, spoken and written (B2+/C1).
• Based in Mexico.

Nice to Have

• Background in the telecommunications or SaaS industry.
