DB Cloud Tester / Multi-Cloud - ODB@Azure and ODB@GCP

Who Are We?
We are the gatekeepers for the Oracle Database. Database Test Development is part of the larger Server Technologies Division. We work on upcoming releases of Oracle’s bread and butter, the Database Server.

Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for candidates who can design, develop, analyze, and debug software programs for databases, applications, and tools for On-Premise and Cloud environments. The ideal candidate will perform complex tasks with minimal assistance and guidance. You will be a proficient problem solver, proactively identifying effective and efficient solutions to real problems. You will fluidly communicate and work with development and product management teams to understand the functionality that you will be responsible for delivering. You will use your creativity and experiences to share new ideas. You have an enthusiasm to continuously learn and conquer new technologies that you are not yet familiar with.

What do you get out of it?
As a member of the DB Cloud Test Dev Team, you will gain in-depth experience of various database cloud service offerings, specifically focused on Oracle Exadata Database Cloud and Oracle Multi-Cloud. Oracle multi-cloud services help customers modernize their databases and applications with unique capabilities, paired with leading services from Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

You will work with highly motivated and enthusiastic engineers to develop test frameworks and tools to test various services and deliveries of Oracle Multi-Cloud end-to-end from all aspects: Account Federation, Provisioning, Networking, Life Cycle Management, Integration, Database Connection, Metrics, Performance, and Security.

You will also have the opportunity for customer interaction and engagement and see how customers use our product. Your role is extremely important to customers as you help keep the bar high, control the quality of the deliveries, and address their issues and feedback at cloud speed. As you also work with global team members around the world, you will have a very good opportunity to grow in this role. Job Requirements

1. 1+ years of work experience with relational databases
2. Experience with languages like C/C++/Java/SQL/PL-SQL/Python/Perl/Shell
3. Sound knowledge of CS fundamentals: operating systems, data structures, algorithms, compilers, networking; artificial intelligence a plus
4. Experience with Linux/Unix administration commands; storage/network configurations a plus
