F5 is seeking a Platform Engineer to modernize and automate our VM and core infrastructure services in hybrid-cloud environments. You will drive IaC, GitOps, and security-focused automation across DNS, PKI, logging, and observability to improve reliability and scale.

The role requires strong data center experience and a passion for automation, with opportunities to influence enterprise infrastructure. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualificações

• At least 5 years as a systems engineer or SRE supporting on-prem datacenter infra and core services.
• Strong background with hypervisor tech and container platforms in large-scale data centers.
• Hands-on with IaC and automation to deploy and manage core services.

Responsabilidades

• Support hypervisor operations across a global datacenter footprint with automated VM management.
• Create reusable Terraform modules and Ansible playbooks for core services deployments.
• Apply GitOps for infrastructure configurations with PR-based changes.
• Lead architecture and automation of DNS, PKI, and NTP services.
• Design and maintain centralized log aggregation and observability feeds.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infra automation.
• Embed security and compliance across the lifecycle, including secret management and certificate automation.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and dashboards; apply SRE practices to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with network, security, and application teams for seamless integration.
