We are looking for a proficient Database/System Administrator to join our team, responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of Microsoft SQL Server databases and supporting internal web-based applications. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability and performance of our database systems and work closely with development teams to seamlessly migrate and test code across environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain the health and performance of Microsoft SQL Server databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Manage database backups, mirroring, log shipping, and other high availability solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance, implementing clustering and replication strategies as needed.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and Analysis Services environments.
  • Develop, support, and maintain SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages.
  • Document processes and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all database-related activities.
  • Support various internal web-based applications on platforms including Microsoft Windows Server, IIS, .Net, and WebLogic.
  • Collaborate with development teams to facilitate code migration and testing across development, testing, and production environments.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration, including backups, mirroring, and log shipping.
  • Strong understanding of database integrity, clustering, replication, and security protocols.
  • Proficient in TSQL scripting and capable of creating thorough documentation.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and Analysis Services.
  • Proven ability to manage Microsoft SQL Server SSIS packages.
  • Experience in supporting and maintaining web applications on Microsoft Windows Server, IIS, .Net, and WebLogic.
  • Experience with Azure SQL is a plus.
