Marsh McLennan is seeking a MongoDB-focused IT professional in Mexico. The role is hybrid, requiring at least three days a week in the office.

You will work as an individual contributor within a large global team responsible for MongoDB databases and projects across AUS, UK, Canada, and the US. Responsibilities include installing MongoDB on Linux, managing replica sets, creating databases and users, and supporting backup/recovery processes.

• Experience working in a Linux environment.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Information Technology team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Description:

In this role, you will support Marsh’s MongoDB database environment as an individual contributor who works independently with minimal supervision. You will be part of a large global team responsible for significant databases and MongoDB-related projects across AUS, UK, Canada, and the US. This is an emerging, varied role with the opportunity to grow your technical depth and operational impact.

We will count on you:

• Install MongoDB on Linux servers and create/maintain replica sets
• Create MongoDB databases, collections, and documents to support application needs
• Create, update, and drop users and roles in alignment with access standards
• Execute and support MongoDB backup and recovery processes
• Partner with offshore teams to ensure smooth transitions and effective work handovers
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, demonstrating strong English proficiency

What you need to have:
