As a Data Tracking and Analytics Specialist, you'll be a key player in our team, working independently as a contractor with our D2C ecommerce clients. Your role involves tackling various e-commerce website issues related to pixel tracking, site speed, attribution, and more. The main function of this role revolves around maximizing accurate data flows to platforms that allow our Clients and others to make informed data-driven decisions - ensuring that Clients are properly tracking digital activities is crucial. Using client and/or server-side GTM, I can help you bridge the gap between what happens on your website and GA4, Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, and other MarTech platforms. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, analyzing data and providing essential insights for our clients. Must have deep knowledge of Shopify, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Data Studio, and server side tracking.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate data flows between Client website and GA4, Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, and other MarTech platforms.
  • Implement and audit tracking within FB/Meta Ads, Google Ads and other digital advertising platforms and be able to perform implementation & setup, conversion tracking, enhanced conversion tracking, offline conversion tracking, dynamic remarketing setup, conversion API - CAPI setup and Cross-Domain Tracking.
  • Implement server-side GTM with migration from client-side tracking.
  • Fully implement GA4 and configure/install web analytics solutions.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot various channel attribution issues, often quickly and under time constraints.
  • Stay up to date on the latest tracking technologies, trends and common issues.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of prior experience in similar role.
  • Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools.
  • Must have experience within tracking and attribution set up within Google Ads, Meta Ads, Microsoft/Bing Ads, TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, LinkedIn Ads, GTM, GA4.
  • Expertise in Shopify and eCommerce stores.
  • Expert within conversion tracking methodologies and strategy.
  • Google Analytics Fundamentals (GA4) certification.
  • High level of proactive problem solving and troubleshooting.
  • Google Studio/Looker Studio Dashboard Creation a plus.
  • Ability to explain technical content in an approachable manner.
  • Highly responsive and available for client support requests.
  • Demonstrate commitment to a positive client experience.
