Job Summary

We are seeking a detailed Data Quality Analyst to join our outstanding team at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform data quality assessments and validations to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Implement data quality scorecards and monitor performance indicators to maintain high standards.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve data quality issues in collaboration with data owners and collaborators.
  • Apply Experian data products and services to improve data quality and support business needs.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of data quality processes and improvements.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to efficiently implement data quality initiatives and projects.
  • Deliver training and support to team members and collaborators on data quality standard methodologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrable experience in working with Experian Aperture Data Studio or other data quality tools.
  • Solid understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.
  • Proficiency in ETL practices and data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python, R).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and data lake platforms (e.g., Databricks, Athena, Redshift).
  • Understanding data management principles and standard methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability in data quality analysis or a related role.
  • Certification in data quality or data management (preferred but not required).
