Data Team is a diverse group of technology enthusiasts enabling our global business. The Data Product Lead is a key member of this team, based in India, reporting to the Data Product Manager. This role involves defining the delivery and support for applications utilizing Snowflake, Azure, and related data tools.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing technical and solution delivery resources for projects.
- Ensuring functional and technical governance is in place.
- Coordinating with Business Partners, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Technical Architects, and CoE teams for successful delivery.
- Maintaining up-to-date technical and functional expertise in assigned areas.
- Collaborating with architecture and operations teams to ensure Data products meet company standards with high availability.
- Supporting design analysis, development, testing, and implementation of changes to Data products.
- Leading testing cycles prior to migration to production.
- Working with Release Managers on deployment schedules and readiness.
- Supporting solution migration strategies.
- Engaging with external vendors on issues, enhancements, and improvements.
- Acting as a liaison between Corporate IT and business teams.
- Partnering with ePMO, Delivery, and IT business teams to ensure governance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Applying best practices to implement Data Solutions.
- Managing work scope to prevent uncontrolled expansion.
- Driving compliance, integrity, and financial responsibility.
- Working effectively with global remote teams.
Qualifications:
- BSc/MSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with data platform development, preferably with Snowflake.
- Expertise in Big Data Analytics and Cloud Data platforms.
- Successful track record of delivering data solutions of various sizes.
- Experience leading and mentoring diverse teams.
- Experience with data warehouse projects and integrations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and collaboration abilities.
