Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Mexico is seeking a Data Management Specialist Logistics to join our team. You will manage databases across materials, inventory, and demand, and design dashboards using Power BI to drive operational insights.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in data management within Logistics, experience with MDM and SAP ERP, and strong Excel/Power BI skills. You will support users, automate reports, and collaborate with Logistics, Warehouse and Shipping teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in data management or data analysis within Logistics.
• Experience in Master Data Management (MDM).
• Experience developing automation solutions, reports, and analytical tools.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Power Query.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and maintain databases related to materials, inventory, shortages, and demand movements.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and KPIs using Power BI.
• Automate reports and processes with macros, scripts, and digital tools.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate manual activities and reduce errors through process automation.
• Develop data queries, analyses, and reports to support decisions.
• Coordinate improvement projects related to Data Governance and MDM.
• Document processes, data standards, and best practices for data management.
• Train and support users in automated reports and tools.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Warehouse, and Shipping teams for data consistency.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Manage and maintain databases related to materials, inventory, shortages, and demand movements.
• Ensure data quality through audits, validations, and control processes.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and performance indicators using Business Intelligence tools, primarily Power BI.
• Automate reports and operational processes through macros, scripts, and digital tools.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate manual activities and reduce errors through process automation.
• Develop data queries, analyses, and reports to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Integrate and consolidate information from multiple sources, including ERP systems, databases, files, and web-based platforms.
• Coordinate improvement projects related to Data Governance and Master Data Management (MDM).
• Document processes, information flows, data standards, and best practices for effective data management.
• Train and support users in the utilization of automated reports and analytical tools.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Warehouse, and Shipping teams to ensure data consistency, availability, and reliability.
• Generate analyses and insights that contribute to process optimization, operational efficiency, and the achievement of business objectives.

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration with an analytical focus, or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data management, data analysis, or related areas within Logistics and Supply Chain.
• Experience in Master Data Management (MDM).
• Experience developing automation solutions, reports, and analytical tools.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Experience creating procedures, work instructions, and operational manuals.
• Availability to provide first-level support to internal users.
• Valid passport and U.S. visa are preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Power Query, including the development of KPI dashboards and data-driven reporting solutions.
