Emerson is seeking a Product Data Governance Specialist to ensure the accuracy and usability of product data across the enterprise. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain standardized attributes, manage hierarchies, and enforce governance policies that support business processes and analytics.

You will perform data entry, quality checks, maintain hierarchies, document data definitions, and provide guidance or training on data processes.

Formación

• Minimum of three years of practical experience or relevant education in Information Management, Business, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Familiarity with data governance, master data management, or product information management concepts.
• Basic understanding of data quality principles, taxonomy, and data lifecycle.
• Ability to learn enterprise systems (MDM/PIM platforms, ERP, CRM, analytics tools).
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to identify inconsistencies in data.
• Basic experience with SQL, Power BI, or data visualization tools.
• Advanced English proficiency in both oral and written communication.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to data quality, processes, and governance tools.
• Provide guidance or basic training to stakeholders on product data processes and best practices.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Basic understanding of data quality principles, taxonomy, and data lifecycle.
• Ability to learn enterprise systems (MDM/PIM platforms, ERP, CRM, analytics tools).
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to identify inconsistencies in data.
• Basic experience with SQL, Power BI, or data visualization tools.
• Advanced English proficiency in both oral and written communication.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience working with product data, item masters, or catalog management (academic, internship, or project experience acceptable).
• Exposure to MDM/PIM systems (e.g., Informatica, Profisee, Stibo, SAP/Oracle item master modules).
• Understanding of product lifecycle or supply chain concepts.
