Overview

Are you ready to drive PepsiCo’s digital evolution and accelerate transformation across our global operations?

The Customer Data Steward IBP role is responsible for working within the global data governance team and with their local businesses to maintain alignment to the Global Data Governance's (GDG) processes, rules, and standards set to ensure data is fit for purpose.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day with us:

  • Data Discovery & Quality Management – Manage data discovery, source identification, cataloging, and data quality management for Customer Domain data.

  • Governance & Compliance – Ensure data accuracy, enforce global governance policies, and drive adoption of enterprise data standards across business segments.

  • Stakeholder Advisory – Advise stakeholders on data governance, focusing on Demand Planning in IBP and business data usage.

  • Data Quality Rules – Define and implement end-to-end data quality rules from source to end-user systems.

  • Project & Initiative Support – Ensure data-related changes and dependencies are managed per enterprise governance standards.

  • Market Representation – Represent market-specific needs in sector data councils, advocating for feasible local solutions.

  • Cross-Sector Coordination – Align data activities with sector-level peers to maintain consistency in enterprise and analytical data.

  • Enterprise Standards Alignment – Ensure data governance aligns with business segments and enterprise support models.

  • Data Domain Leadership – Own and evolve the roadmap for enterprise data governance based on business strategy and emerging technologies.

  • Collaboration & Advocacy – Drive acceptance of data governance policies, promote best practices, and champion PepsiCo’s data governance programs.

Qualifications

What you will need to succeed

  • 6+ years of experience working in Customer Operations, Demand Planning, Data Governance, or Data Management within a global CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) company; Strong data management background who understands data, how to ingest data, proper data use/consumption, data quality, and stewardship
  • 5+ years of experience working with data in the specific Customer /Order to Cash Customer domain (ie: Customer, Material, Vendor, Finance, Consumer), associated processes, involved systems, and data usage. This can be from a data management or a business operational perspective
  • Ability to partner with both business and technical subject matter experts to ensure standardization of operational information and execution of enterprise-wide data governance policies and procedures are defined and implemented.
  • 5+ years of experience working with data quality tools/technologies, including strong knowledge of workflow, monitoring, and reporting functionality (Desirable)
