Infosys is seeking a Data Engineer with strong ETL and data validation skills to join our team in Monterrey, Guadalajara, Mexico City, or Queretaro. The role focuses on ETL development, data validation, and SQL querying to support analytics initiatives.

You will design SQL code using AWS Athena, create Tableau workbooks, and build automated data pipelines. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential to work with stakeholders.

Formación

• Clear and concise communication is essential.
• Notes must be detailed and accurate.
• Strong ETL development and testing background (1–2 years).
• Experience with Tableau (1–2 years).
• SQL for data analysis, validation, and data investigation (1–2 years).

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop SQL code (AWS Athena) as required.
• Develop and edit Tableau workbooks as needed.

• Troubleshoot failures and resolve issues.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to support business needs.
• Query data to answer business questions and assist investigations.
• Collaborate with SMEs to define metrics and KPIs.

Data Engineer - ETL

Location: Monterrey, Guadalajara, Mexico City, Queretaro

Time Zone: CST/EST

Infosys is looking for Data Engineer with strong backgrounds in ETL development, data validation/testing and SQL querying.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and developing SQL code (AWS Athena) required
• Developing and editing Tableau workbooks experience required
• Designing and developing automated solutions
• Performance monitoring and tuning of existing automated jobs
• Troubleshooting failures
• Ad hoc analyses
• Query data to answer business questions and to support investigations
• Engage with subject matter experts to develop metrics and key performance indicators

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Outstanding ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Thorough, take detailed notes and capture correct information
• Strong ETL development and testing background (minimum of 1-2 years experience)
• Experience with Tableau (minimum of 1-2 years experience)
• Experience with SQL for data analysis, validation/testing and data investigation (minimum of 1-2 years experience)
