Job summary

Sinch is looking for a Data Engineer – Data & Automation to build data pipelines and internal tools that accelerate customer-facing teams. You will design automations and looker/tableau/power BI dashboards, integrate Zendesk/Jira, and ensure data quality and governance.

This role reports to Operational Excellence and collaborates with multiple teams globally in a remote setting. You will work across LATAM, EMEA, and APAC time zones, applying AI insights carefully with real data checks, and

Qualifications

Must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and strong data engineering background.
Experience building pipelines, automations, or integrations used in production.
Proven ability to design dashboards and reports (Looker/Tableau/Power BI).
Fluent English and comfort communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with Zendesk, Jira, APIs, and webhooks is a plus.
Security, data governance, and data-quality mindset with ownership.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain data pipelines from support, onboarding, and billing systems.
Design, deploy automations, integrations, and internal tools to streamline workflows.
Create data models, dashboards, and reports used by teams and leadership.
Measure outcomes by baseline before improvements and post-release results.
Collaborate across regions and time zones in a remote setting.
