A Big Data and Analytics Company is seeking a skilled Data Engineer – Snowflake to work remotely in Mexico. Responsibilities include designing and implementing Snowflake Data Warehouse solutions and collaborating with architects on data models. Candidates should have strong experience in Snowflake and cloud platforms. This is a 6-month contract position with potential for extension.

Formación

Data Engineer – Snowflake

Location: Remote (Mexico or Brazil preferred) – CST Time Zone Coverage Required

Duration: 6 months (extendable to 12 months)

Language Requirement: Advanced/Fluent English (written and verbal)

We are seeking experienced and motivated Data Engineers to join a strategic initiative with a confidential global client. This is a remote opportunity ideal for professionals based in Mexico or Brazil who are passionate about building scalable data solutions and contributing to high-impact projects in a dynamic, international environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement robust Snowflake Data Warehouse solutions.
• Analyze requirements and deliver high-quality data artifacts.
• Collaborate with architects to design and optimize Snowflake data models.
• Develop and manage integrations with third-party ETL tools (Cloud-to-Cloud and On-premises-to-Cloud).
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Perform SQL performance tuning and troubleshoot data models.
• Support iterative feedback cycles and requirement gathering with stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, processing, and administration.
• Proficiency in Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Deep understanding of enterprise-level data warehousing concepts.
• Expertise in SQL performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience with ADF and Snowflake modeling (roles, databases, schemas, procedures, UDFs, Snowpipe, shares, streams).
• Ability to manage and maintain GitHub and Azure DevOps pipelines using CI/CD principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and communication abilities.
