Job summary

Optimas Solutions Ltd in Mexico City is seeking a Trade Compliance Assistant to support data-driven compliance across sourcing, sales, transport, customer service and legal teams. You will pull import-related data, analyze it, coordinate with suppliers, and prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.

This role reports to the General Counsel as part of the Legal Team, offering a fast-paced, global environment and opportunities to contribute to our compliance program.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 2 years direct experience in Supply Chain Buyer and/or Supply Chain Analyst.
• Advanced Excel skills for large data analysis.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary POC with external contractors to provide import-related data such as HS codes, weights and measures.
• Contact suppliers to retrieve import related information and update databases.
• Interact with internal customers to perform analysis and data consolidation.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
• Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to eliminate roadblocks and ensure all program deliverables are met on time.
• Maintain and report meeting minutes.
• Other relevant tasks and duties as assigned.
