Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Mexico (Querétaro) is seeking a Data Center Controls Engineer to join the global controls team supporting AWS data centers. You will troubleshoot, manage BMS and EPMS, and help develop new control standards while innovating in the controls space.

Responsibilities include full lifecycle management of BMS/EPMS across multiple data centers, on-call support for critical systems, and extensive vendor coordination, with frequent on-site travel to data centers in the region.

Qualifications

• Experience with building management and power monitoring systems.
• Lifecycle management of BMS and EPMS in data center settings.
• Strong project management under budget and schedule constraints.
• On-call support for critical data center systems.

Responsibilities

• Complex Multi-System Management & Technical Support - entire lifecycle of BMS and EPMS across multiple data centers.
• Project Management Under Constraints - manage scope, schedules, budgets, and stakeholder deliverables.
• Emergency Response & Critical System Support - participate in AWS global on-call schedule for in-service data centers.
• Extensive Vendor & Procurement Coordination - RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, purchase orders, and vendor supervision.
