Skills And Abilities

• Ability to establish relationships with business, IT leaders and technology subject matter experts with sufficient verbal and written communication skills appropriate for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to recommend data architecture accomplishing long-range objectives within area of expertise and sphere of influence while simultaneously balancing functional requirements, business demand and budget constraints.
• Ability to perform requirements analysis for IT systems, provide input to business case development and validate data requirements for IT systems.
• Ability to develop Policy, Procedures, and Processes as it relates to Data Governance.
• Strong understanding of MDM (Master Data Management)
• Senior level understanding and practical usage of Informatica tools such as Axon and EDC

Technologies and Competencies Experience

• Relational database experience in Hive, Oracle, SQL Server, UDB and/or Mainframe Databases (ADABAS, IMS, DB2)
• Emergent/contemporary data technologies including cloud/hybrid/big data/unstructured/open source data tools
• Logical and physical data modeling with a data modeling tool (ex. Erwin, ER Studio etc)
• Apply guidance and standards for information management and data architecture, including oversight and assistance with data modeling both normalized and dimensional models.
• Database sizing for Databases more than 1TB
• Database administration
• Data Modeling
• Experience with No Schema database
