Jobgether busca un Analista de Datos enfocado en infraestructura hídrica para transformar datos complejos en insights accionables. El rol se realiza de forma remota desde México, trabajando con Power BI, GIS y Azure para crear dashboards y soluciones de analítica.

Se valorará experiencia en datos geoespaciales, series temporales y gestión de activos, con colaboración entre equipos de ingeniería, producto y negocio para impulsar decisiones eficientes.

Formación

• Experiencia avanzada en desarrollo de dashboards Power BI.
• Sólidos conocimientos de SQL, Python y herramientas de BI.
• Experiencia creando sistemas de reporting automatizados y modelos de datos escalables.
• Trabajar con datos de series temporales, geoespaciales y de activos.
• Capacidad para traducir conceptos técnicos a insights visuales comprensibles.

Responsabilidades

• Diseñar, desarrollar y optimizar dashboards Power BI y soluciones de reporting.
• Construir modelos de datos escalables con SQL, Python y BI.
• Transformar datos de series temporales y geoespaciales en visualizaciones útiles.
• Desarrollar flujos de reporting automatizados para apoyar la toma de decisiones.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Data Analyst - Water Infrastructure based in Mexico.

This role focuses on transforming complex infrastructure data into actionable insights that support smarter utility decisions. You will design and develop advanced business intelligence solutions using Power BI, GIS, cloud technologies, and data analytics tools. The position combines data visualization, geospatial analysis, and technical problem-solving to improve operational visibility. You will work with large datasets, including time-series, asset, and infrastructure information, to create scalable reporting solutions. Accountabilities

As a Data Analyst focused on water infrastructure, you will be responsible for building and maintaining analytics solutions that enable organizations to better understand, manage, and optimize their infrastructure assets. You will combine business intelligence, data modeling, and geospatial capabilities to deliver reliable reporting systems and insights.

• Design, develop, and optimize advanced Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Build scalable data models using SQL, Python, and business intelligence technologies.
• Transform time-series, geospatial, and asset datasets into meaningful visualizations and actionable insights.
• Develop automated reporting workflows that improve operational decision-making.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting systems.
• Create GIS-based reporting solutions using geospatial data and mapping platforms.
• Integrate infrastructure and asset information into intuitive dashboards for planning and management.
• Develop cloud-based analytics solutions using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
• Build and maintain API integrations and automated data synchronization processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Improve existing reporting platforms through performance optimization, automation, and continuous enhancement.
• Support stakeholders by simplifying complex technical information into clear business insights.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in business intelligence with analytical thinking and the ability to communicate complex information clearly. You should have experience developing reporting solutions, working with large datasets, and using modern analytics technologies to solve real-world problems.

• Advanced experience with Power BI dashboard development and reporting solutions.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and business intelligence tools.
• Proven experience creating automated reporting systems and scalable data models.
• Experience working with time-series data, geospatial datasets, and asset management information.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly insights and visualizations.
• Experience with data modeling, reporting accuracy, and analytics best practices.
• Familiarity with GIS platforms, particularly Esri GIS, is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and API integrations is a plus.
• Experience in water infrastructure, utilities, engineering, or similar industries is advantageous.
• Familiarity with React or Blazor frameworks is considered a bonus.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
