WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

This full-time hybrid role, based in our Mexico City office, is a key part of Bain’s Technology, Media, & Telecommunications Centers of Expertise (TMT CoE) within the Bain Capability Network, collaborating with global leadership, client-facing teams, and end clients to develop and deliver proprietary TMT solutions. The CoE serves leading companies across domains such as Wireline and Wireless Telecommunication, Cable and Satellite, Media, Software, Semiconductors, Hardware, Technology, CSPs, and IT Services. The team is primarily focused on collaborating with practice/case teams on the development and deployment of industry-specific analytical products to answer strategic questions of Bain’s TMT clients.

WHERE YOU'LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

As an Analyst within the TMT CoE, you will work in teams comprising a mix of Project Leads, Associates, and Analysts. Delivery models on projects vary from working as part of a broader global Bain case team, collaborating with practice stakeholders, to working independently with a Bain Associate Partner or Partner.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Contribute as a member of the team to deliver projects within the Technology, Media, & Telecommunications domain
• Take responsibility for the assigned work streams to deliver high quality output
• Analyze data to draw meaningful insights and build expertise in the telecom domain
• Ensure timely, high quality, error-free analysis by performing sound data and reality checks
• Leverage relevant analytical tools – such as Python, Excel, and Alteryx – to deliver insightful analysis
• Work along with other Analysts, Associates, and Project Leads in the team, owning and delivering the allocated workstream
• Work well in a team setting, understand the key aspects of delivery and deliver them with direction from senior team members
• Own up to professional development by consistently seeking actionable feedback

ABOUT YOU

Required:

• Willing and able to work in a hybrid set-up with 4 days per week on-site (Bain office in Polanco)
• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record and up to 2 years of experience in a multinational corporation, with exposure to management consulting and business analytics (preferably within Technology, Media, or Telecommunications industries)
• Strong command of written and spoken English (C1–C2 proficiency), with the ability to communicate effectively to drive discussions and presentations with senior stakeholders
• Demonstrates strong learning agility, analytical ability, and communication skills, with an owner’s mindset and the flexibility to quickly adapt to new tools, ways of working, project expectations, and client needs
• Uses Python, Excel, and PowerPoint to support analysis and communication

Preferred:

• Understanding of GIS (geospatial) based capabilities such as capturing, storing, analyzing, and visualizing geospatial data to understand patterns
• Familiarity with Alteryx and Tableau
