We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role Cybersecurity Technology Operations Engineer.

Role Purpose:

The Cybersecurity Technology Operations Engineer will be a member of the Cybersecurity Technology and Engineering team. This team is responsible for the maintenance and operation of all technologies the function relies on, ensuring high standards of availability and security across all cybersecurity tools, and maintaining capability amidst organizational disruptions.

Main Activities:

1. Support technical operations for critical cybersecurity technologies as a Security Engineer.

2. Provide end-to-end administration and support for cybersecurity tools related to Endpoint security, Data Security, Network Security, Application Security, and SIEM/SOAR.

3. Analyze, investigate, and remediate cybersecurity application incidents in operational/production environments.

4. Automate repetitive operational tasks using programming languages such as Perl, Python, PHP, Bash, or PowerShell.

5. Set up monitoring and event management for cybersecurity products to ensure availability, reliability, and performance.

6. Perform installation, upgrades, hygiene, and maintenance of cybersecurity applications.

7. Operate according to ITIL processes, including Change Management, Incident Management, and Problem Management.

8. Lead product support transitions, focusing on both technical and process aspects.

9. Identify operational gaps and implement continual service improvements.

10. Build a knowledge base of tools and develop/enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

11. Work independently and collaboratively with Cyber Security and other Lines of Business (LOBs).

12. Create operational metrics such as change success rate, tool uptime, and incident ticket volume.

13. Support weekend activities on a rotational basis, including active/passive on-call duties.
