This role involves implementing customs processes, supervising daily activities, and ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations. The ideal candidate has over 8 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and is bilingual in Spanish and English. Strong analytical skills and team management experience are essential.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in the relevant field.
• Strong understanding of MX customs regulations.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Overview

This position is not fully remote; it is based in the main offices and attends 4 days per week onsite (Lomas Verdes, Naucalpan, Estado de México).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in international Trade or similar

• Strong understanding of MX customs regulations, international trade laws, and import/export processes
• Team management experience
• Experience coordinating custom broker and Customs service providers

• Organizational and time management
• Committed and energetic. Adaptable to the needs of the organization
• In site position at any of the Ford of Mexico plants

Responsibilities

This is a Sr, role which involves implementing customs process, supervising the daily activities of all staff, ensuring tasks are completed on time and accurately, and maintaining compliance with Customs and trade regulations.

Due to the responsabilities of the role, we´re seeking candidates who have,

• Experience in Customs system rollouts and/or maintenance
• Prior involvement in testing of customs software solutions / Business requirements
• Experience developing data analytics tools to identify process improvement opportunities within large and complex customs datasets
• Supported the development of Customs metrics based on documentation of proper data safe sources
• Project management
