Job Title: Custom Declaration Coordinator

Job Description: Sunstrong International is seeking a coordinator with expertise in customs clearance and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage customs declaration and clearance within Mexico in collaboration with customs brokers.
  2. Ensure import and export customs clearance meets established timelines.
  3. Lead negotiations with customs brokers or related parties regarding declaration issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  4. Regularly follow up and update to ensure compliance with customs laws and regulations.
  5. Provide training to subordinates on customs requirements.
  6. Report customs status and data on a weekly basis.

Required Skills & Experience:

  1. College degree; experience in customs clearance/declaration; logistics planning experience is a plus.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in the EMS industry preferred.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
  4. Knowledge of IMMEX.
  5. Good command of English, both speaking and writing, is a plus.
