Footprint, LLC in Mexicali is seeking a compliance specialist to manage IMMEX and VAT/IEPS obligations, monitoring foreign trade operations and internal processes to ensure full regulatory alignment.

The role focuses on analyzing temporary inventory records and coordinating with tax and customs authorities to minimize audit risk, while implementing robust internal controls and continuous improvement. Fluent English and IMMEX manufacturing experience are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade and Customs, International Business, or a related field.
• Advanced English.
• Experience working in IMMEX manufacturing.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with the customs obligations related to the IMMEX Program and VAT/IEPS Certification by monitoring, analyzing, and controlling foreign trade operations, temporary inventory records, and internal processes.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable customs and foreign trade regulations while minimizing risks associated with audits and inspections by authorities such as SAT and ANAM.

Role Description

Ensure compliance with the customs obligations related to the company's IMMEX Program and VAT/IEPS Certification by monitoring, analyzing, and controlling foreign trade operations, temporary inventory records, and internal processes. Ensure full compliance with applicable customs and foreign trade regulations while minimizing risks associated with audits and

inspections by authorities such as the Mexican Tax Administration Service (SAT) and the National Customs Agency of Mexico (ANAM).

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in International Trade and Customs, International Business, or a related field.

Advanced English .

Experience working in IMMEX manufacturing
