Job Description

The customer support engineer is responsible for administering and providing assistance to the engine owner regarding shop visit processes. He participates in daily gate revisión meetings, analyzes technical shop findings reports from subcontracted repair vendors, and elaborates engine condition reports. The engineer also prepares weekly status reports and reports on repaired and replaced parts if required by the customer, supporting other functions related to shop visit follow-up.
The Customer Support Engineer reports directly to the account engine owner leader of each program and functionally to the Customer Support Manager.
The On-the-Job Training (OJT) and Objectives revision are conducted twice a year, with objectives evaluated by the EO leader of the assigned program.
Career development for this position includes progression from Customer Support Engineer (Jr.) to Sr., with potential to become an Engine Owner.

Complementary Description

Prepare inspection reports, conduct Borescopic Inspections, manage inventories.
Analyze Exchange proposals and manage customer approvals.
Oversee engine stand repair processes.
Update databases such as SSO, Monitoring Tool, Inductions, Power BI, and Docuware.
Create and launch Sales Orders in SAP.
Prepare shop visit status reports and engine condition reports.
Attend Gates review, Production, and Genba meetings.
Understand instructions and commercial guidelines.
Maintain and update KPIs.
