We are currently working with a large cyber security company to find a Customer Success Engineer on a 12-month contract.

Role Overview

As a Customer Success Engineer within the SASE team, you will be part of a business-critical capability to enable our customers’ secure environments. You will act as their day-to-day technical contact, building relationships to ensure proper security integrations.

This includes providing guidance for adoption, accelerating integrations with new cloud security products, and offering real-time support and strategy. The ideal candidate is highly technical, understands SASE technologies, and is familiar with the complex world of cloud ecosystems and integrations.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure customers maximize their return on investment by rapidly implementing and operationalizing SASE solutions to meet their business and security objectives.
  2. Assist customers in implementing SASE solutions and fully integrating these into their security and networking operations.
  3. Proactively address customer needs for technical assistance, coordinating with engineering teams for timely resolutions.
  4. Serve as a customer advocate, influencing product roadmap and improvements.
  5. Coach customers on establishing and managing their Cloud Security Change Management, Governance, and Center of Excellence programs.
  6. Identify risks to achieving business goals and work with the account team to develop risk mitigation plans or escalate as needed.
Experience & Qualifications
  1. BSc / MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in pre-sales, post-sales, technical support, consulting, or similar roles.
  3. Deep understanding of networking and security concepts, with experience with multi-vendor networking devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  4. Knowledge of SASE architecture and its value proposition.
  5. Experience with Data Security products like CASB and DLP.
  6. Enterprise-level experience in designing and troubleshooting routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
  7. Expertise with remote access VPN solutions, IPSEC, PKI & SSL, TCP/IP, and authentication protocols (SAML, SSO, LDAP, RADIUS).
  8. Proficiency in Linux, including BASH and Python scripting.
  9. Proven track record managing customer escalations, balancing expectations, and negotiating successful resolutions.
