Descripción

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first line of contact for our external customers to ensure the success of every sale. Attention to detail is critical as you’ll be responsible for accurately inputting orders, sourcing to multiple manufacturing and fulfillment centers. You will own that order until it ships from the facility and will work directly with cross-functional teams such as Supply Chain, Operations, and Shipping to ensure on-time delivery for your assigned accounts. You will manage an account load of customers and partner with our outside sales team for success. You’ll be empowered to proactively resolve customer service issues and implement corrective actions when needed. Main Responsibilities

  1. Timely and accurate input of customer orders sourcing to multiple fulfillment centers, including tracking late orders.
  2. Reviewing and updating daily priority list, maintaining customer and product files.
  3. Collaborating with Planning, Scheduling, Production, and Shipping to ensure on-time shipments and manage inventory cost-effectively.
  4. Working with supervisors to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
  5. Learning all product lines to assist with all Customer Service calls across regions and segments for full backup support.
  6. Understanding all PPG policies, guidelines, and product requirements, following ISO standards.

Qualifications

  • At least 3+ years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced, complex customer service environment (retail or call center experience not applicable).
  • Experience entering high volumes of order data daily with low error rates.
  • Strong communication skills—both written and oral—teamwork, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, follow-up, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision within a team environment.
  • Enthusiastic, customer-focused professionalism.
  • Excellent attendance is required.
